CyBlox how to...
Open CyBlox by clicking its icon.
To close CyBlox click white 'X' in the upper right corner of the screen.
You can minimize CyBlox by clicking on '-' in the upper right corner of the screen.
CyBlox screen is divided into four main areas.
Area one - blue area, represents your construction area viewed from the top.
Right beneath blue area are buttons which you can click to create new construction,
preview your creation, save your creation as 3DML file or view previously saved 3DML files.
(Please note that closing CyBlox program saves your current construction.)
Green area holds elements that you can place in your construction area.
Area between blue and green areas holds elements before placing them in your construction.
Here you can modify your elements.
Bottom left of the screen is your monitor. Here you can track your elements, view help, and name your creation.
The white dot in the middle of the blue area represents your position in the scene.
You can move it like any other element in your construction, but you can't move it outside
of your construction area or remove it from your scene.
Before you start using CyBlox remember about SEP - Select Edit Place.
First you need to Select element you like to put into your construction,
then you can Edit, change its properties, and then Place it in the construction area.
To start building:
- Click on the item in green box to select it.
- Small square representing your item appears in the middle of the screen.
Depending on the element you choose EditBox may appear, which will let you change some properties of your element.
- To place the element in the construction area, click and drag its button and drop it into the blue area.
You can't place one element on top of another.
- Option box allows you to change properties of the following elements:
Castle
Wall
To remove element from the construction area right-click on the element.
Changing castle interior.
To change castle's interior, first click on the blue arrow the EditBox.
This will take you to the screen where you will be able to add elements inside of the castle.
Group of buttons in the middle of the screen represents castle's floors viewed from the top.
Each square is a block that you can change. You can change which floor you view by clicking buttons below.
To add element inside castle click on the element you'd like to add.
Button below the castle in the middle of the screen changes color and letter to represent selected item.
Now click on the buttons inside the castle. This is where your element will be placed. To remove item from the castle,
just click the button that "holds" the item that you'd like to remove.
Some elements (like torch) are displayed on the wall of the block. In case like this you can select on which wall to place the element by clicking "-" sign, just little bit off of the side of selected item button. Side of the block you selected
will be indicated by the "+" sign.
Please note that removing castle from the construction area will not change its interior.
Changing wall elements.
You can change size and direction of your wall. To change size of the wall click on the triangle
on the top of the Options box. This will display row of numbers representing size of the wall,
click on the number you wish to make size of your wall.
Your wall can run either north-south or east-west. To change direction of you wall click on the curly arrow
